Welcome to my website!

I grew up in Nova Scotia Canada, the oldest of six children who now live from Atlantic to Pacific! I attended Acadia University where I majored in Sociology and minored in three foreign languages.

I have a great family that includes my Mom, two sons, two daughters and two daughters-in-law. And I am the proud Nana of two adorable granddaughters! I don't have any pets at the moment but I am fond of most animals, especially Siamese cats.  I've always had a deep respect for and interest in snakes..........a trait I hope to pass on to my older son. ;-)

I enjoy creative pursuits such as community theater, painting and quilting; presently I am learning to play the violin.

I really enjoy teaching school---this is my 36th year! I am retired from the NS system but I am very happy to be teaching in Georgia, USA!
